LOS ANGELES BILLBOARD
In 2023, I had the unbelievable privilege of being accepted into The Billboard Creative’s international exhibition for a second time (I had also been selected into the same exhibition in 2021!).
A reproduction of my mixed-media piece, "Something to hope for," was printed on vinyl to fit a 14' x 48' billboard, on view in the streets of downtown LA at the intersection of W 7th St and Hoover St. through February of 2023.
Both 2021 and 2023 billboards was sponsored by The Billboard Creative, a non-profit arts organization bringing large-format art from emerging and established international artists to 30 billboards across Los Angeles.
The artwork selected for this billboard is called, “Something to hope for,” (mixed media: graphite on paper, secondhand textiles), and the original was purchased by a private collector.
