BThese mixed-media works combine figurative graphite drawings on paper with backgrounds sewn from repurposed textiles and damaged secondhand clothing. Drawing from my background in fashion, the work reflects a complicated relationship with an industry I remain drawn to as both an art form and a vehicle for self-expression, while increasingly aware of its environmental impact.

By giving discarded garments a new purpose within the work, I explore the tension between beauty, consumption, and industrialization—and the lasting ecological cost embedded in the clothing we wear.
