Support My Upcoming Residency in France!

Hey there! I'm Bad Talents®, and I'm embarking on a journey to France for a 3-week artist residency program at Chateau d'Orquevaux in May 2025, and I need your help to get me there! While I've received a partial grant upon acceptance, this residency is not fully-funded, so I need to build up funds to secure my attendance.

I’ve launched a limited Summer Studio Sale (July 26-Aug 2) which includes heavily discounted original artworks, new prints, and unique limited-edition merch items to support my trip.

Chateau d'Orquevaux is a competitive international artist residency program nestled in the Champagne-Ardenne region of France. Renowned as one of the top ten most beautiful residency programs worldwide, it provides a serene escape surrounded by natural beauty in the French countryside. Each cohort includes 15 artists from around the globe. This opportunity provides me with a private studio and bedroom, all meals provided, and a supportive community of fellow artists. It's the ideal environment for me to break free from routine and explore fresh perspectives in my art, while reconnecting with my roots in painting.

I'm most excited about collaborating with other international artists (fresh eyes! new perspectives!) while getting inspired + refreshed by the surrounding natural landscapes.

Funds raised will primarily contribute towards the remaining $2,400 in residency fees (I've already paid an initial deposit of $1,200), in addition to travel and art supplies (I will be painting again for the first time in 10+ years!).

• $1,200 | 2nd payment due to residency program on Aug 30
• $1,200 | 3rd and final payment due to residency program on Nov 30
• $1,000 | Economy roundtrip flight from LAX to Paris
• $300   | Travel insurance
• $500   | Art supplies (e.g., oil paints, brushes, canvas, etc.)
